Del Webb Sunchase Community Development District
The Del Webb Sunchase Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on September 25, 2024 by the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners, Ordinance No. 24-80 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Del Webb Sunchase CDD is located entirely within Manatee County, Florida and consists of approximately 141.280 acres of land. The site is generally located south of and east of US 301, north of SR62, and west of Keen Road.

The Del Webb Sunchase Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on September 25, 2024 by the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners, Ordinance No. 24-80.
The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, as may be amended from time to time. The Charter of the District shall be as set forth in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, as amended, as created by general law. The Board of County Commissioners consents to the exercise by the District board of supervisor to the following special powers listed in section 190.012(2)(a) and {d), Florida Statutes. Specifically, the District shall have the power to plan, establish, acquire, construct, or reconstruct, enlarge, or extend, equip, operate, and maintain additional systems and facilities for: ill Parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses; and W Security. including, but not limited to. guardhouses. fences and gates. electronic instruction systems. and patrol cars, when authorized by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Department or other proper governmental agencies; except that the District may not exercise any policy power but may contract with appropriate local general-purpose government agencies for an increased level of such services within the District boundaries.
